Gen Y Speaks: My mum’s struggle with tech inspired me to start a digital literacy campaign for seniors
Being digital natives, we often don’t see the difficulties seniors face when grappling with technology. Witnessing his mum’s struggle, one NTU student decided to start a campaign to help seniors, especially the low-income and illiterate, go digital. ‘The little moments matter’: S’porean, 26, helps at-risk youths through mentorship & sports
Inspired by his time working at the Singapore Boys’ Hostel, Joshua Tay wanted to be there for these youths after they left the hostel. Together with his friends, he founded Impart, a non-profit organisation that helps at-risk youth reintegrate into society.
